This is Socrates Savage. Socrates, as you know, was an ancient Greek philosopher who stopped

If he had a microphone and there were people out there he wouldn't know how to walk

in the streets he could have stayed at home in his red bathrobe and had a cup of coffee so i'm

going to read the news to you this morning with you to you so that's where we begin let's see which website shall I begin on.

Well, let's begin with my ex account.

So you'll notice behind me is my dear brother Jerome,

who never had a chance to talk or see or hear or live normally.

And as I get older, I realize, but for the quirk of fate,

he could have been me and I could have been him.

So it gives me a double, I've been living for two people my whole life, two

brothers. He never lived. And he suffered, never lived. He suffered. So here I am, and I'm trying to make

the most of my time on earth for him and I, and I pray that God recognizes that as flawed as I am, you know, Freud said something that I'll never forget. I never met him personally, but Freud said that if you wake up one morning and you realize that you only have one arm and one leg, Freud said crawl on one arm and one leg. That's a brilliant saying. What that means is if you discover that you're an imperfect person and you have all sorts of problems.

We'll live with them and just live with them and work through them and don't try to

make yourself perfect because you're never going to be perfect.

So Freud was telling people to crawl if they had to, but don't give up and don't stop moving.

And I think that's a great message.
