I'm coming to you, not from Charlotte Motor Speedway, but from Indianapolis Motor Speedway,

where I'm getting ready to attend Media Day,

if I can get this posted before the time for that comes.

Excited to have John Wood on the social spotlight today because he is the man behind the Wood

Brothers 21 Twitter account. Very funny, very honest, and just very different than what you would

see from many other team Twitter accounts. Now, John Wood, if you recall, had a career in

NASCAR in the mid-2000s. He ran 119 truck series races, got a couple wins. He ran 85 Xfinity Series races, four cup races.

And so he is now an executive with his family's race team, essentially helping run it.

And one of his duties is the Twitter account, which he will talk about a little bit more.

This is his reaction to, and this is on the team account, now not his personal account.

This is his reaction to Eric Jones incident with the grass while racing in the open.

Quote, kind of a sad state of affairs when the grass makes a car look like it was on the receiving

end of 10 pounds of C4, but that's just how it is.

Later, when Blaney had gotten in the All-Star race and it wasn't going to work out,

the account tweeted,

We just don't have the speed tonight, plain and simple, not terrible, but not good

either. And then he had a little bit of a crisis during the week when he was at a firehouse
