Many times in my country, and maybe in your country too, every time in the Novosurdo calendar, it comes up the

feast of Christ the king, you will hear a decent priest, maybe not a liberal, maybe not a

traditionalist, but a decent priest will say, Christ has to be king of your heart. And they're

absolutely right. Christ should be king of your heart, of everyone

in your family's heart, and in the whole world. But what most conservative, non-traditional

priests fail to mention is that Christ is also the king of every nation. Christ is the king of Croatia. Christ is the king of the

United States. Christ is even king of places that have very few people that might recognize him as

king like Mongolia. And so today I want to talk entirely about Christ today, but it's worth a little bit more

introduction than what Yvonne just gave me.

And it's because I didn't fully believe in the social reign of Christ the king growing up,

or rather it was never taught to me.

So let me spend a very short time on my own conversion.

As Yvonne said, I was raised in an environment where I went to Jesuit schools.

And I don't know about the Balkan lands, but in my country, the Jesuits are known as the most progressive of all Catholics.

And so I was raised somewhat of a social justice warrior.
