I'm Grace Valentine, and also with me is... Can't leave Valcourt and honestly I'm super excited for this topic because we all have

social media and we all have been victims to its awkwardness and its weird rules.

So he felt like it was a great topic to really just talk about.

I love that we're talking about this. Well, because honestly, I feel like in like most people in our generation, I have a love, hate relationship with social media. Like some days I'm like, it's so cool that I'm connecting. And some days I'm like scrolling with jealousy or, and that sounds dramatic, but or it makes things awkward or there's like nothing worse than

when you like a guy and you go to his following and it's like all these bikini girls.

And so it's like, I'm like, oh, why do people just like not like social media can cause beef

with people that I don't even know or that I just bet and I'm like I need to work on that myself

but it's so interesting in our culture like the importance of it. Do you get what I'm saying?

Oh for sure. It's weird because like you're the weirdest thing for me is you can be doing

grocery shopping and like the weirdest food products have Instagrams and it's like the way

they do their marketing. So honestly it's just everywhere and it's like the way they do their marketing.

So honestly, it's just everywhere and it's so quote unquote vital to our society now.

I don't know.

I think sometimes I've heard this one theory that the next generation after generation X,

I think they're called Gen Alpha,

is that they're going to really embrace this whole like Finsta and like not ever

post personal pictures, but just like always have like this, I guess, avatar that'll take

their place in social media and they completely move away from like sharing their lives on it,

which I'm like that makes so much sense for like how much like our generation was like

involved in it.
