1:55.0 | And Ithmahmah, the Allah SWT, this old noble man who the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam loved so much, who the companions loved so much, |
2:04.0 | who the angels loved so much and were shy from, is sitting in his chair reading Qur'an while a group of young people are seeking to assassinate him in the name of religion and truth, |
2:19.0 | because they have been riled up and because they have been motivated by what they think is righteousness and justice. |
2:26.0 | And while it's instigated from the outside, it is now permeated on the inside. |
2:32.0 | And a young man walks up to him and grabs his beard and puts up his sword and is about to kill him. |
2:40.0 | And that young man is Muhammad Ibn Abi Bekirr, the son of Abu Bekirr Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. |
2:47.0 | It is one of the most heartbreaking scenes in what takes place of this fitna, of the trials and tribulations and dissension |
2:57.0 | and just all of the horrible things that we start to see arise in our Islamic history, which shows you Subhanallah even when you have divine revelation, human tendencies lead us to very, very bad scenes. |
