Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk

Radio. Organised crime, pornography, violent imagery and unrelenting messages that tell you

you're not good enough. No, this is not a glimpse inside the mind of Liam Neesham.

It is what your child is subjected to every single time they switch on their computer,

their smartphone, or any electronic device you let them have. Finally, after 15 or more

attempts, the government appears to be willing to properly clamp down on social media firms like

Instagram and Snapchat, which up to now have totally failed to regulate themselves.

Digital Minister Margo James is announcing a crackdown today following the suicide of 14-year-old Molly Russell,

who took her own life after looking at self-harmed posts on Instagram.

Poor little Molly, of course, is not the only victim here. There are many victims, some of whom commit suicide, some of whom do not.

The head of Instagram has been summoned to appear before a parliamentary committee.

He's also been summoned to appear in the Independent Republican Mike Graham. So far, he has not

responded. These guys think they are above the law. We've got some news for you guys. You are not.

Whichever way you look at it, we need to protect our children better. I think you will find.
