Summary

While sipping peach tea in Georgia, the crew chats up Darrell Harrison for a great conversation on justice and race reconciliation. Once in a while Darrell gets into trouble for his writing at Just Thinking… For Myself – and for "applying biblical truth to social, cultural, political, and theological issues in our world". Odd, as his posts with the Alliance at reformation21 have always seemed subdued, but guess that’s compared to our own crew! The conversation goes back and forth but at the end of the day the issue lies on humanity's deepest need to be reconciled to God through Christ and consequently to one another. Darrell shines the light of divine justice on, so called, social justice, calls the church to recapture the biblical language around issues that have spiritual roots, and encourages understanding of those issues within a biblical framework. 0:59.4	And that is the whole issue of race, racial reconciliation, how are things going?
1:05.0	And we brought on as a special guest, Daryl Harrison, who is someone I got acquainted
1:10.5	with through seeing articles that he'd
1:13.2	written for a blog, being posted on social media. And as I began to read his articles, I thought, man,
1:18.4	this guy has got to get into a lot of trouble because Mr. Harrison was frequently departing from
1:24.8	kind of, shall we call it, the received narrative on some racial issues.
1:29.4	And so I just began a little bit of a correspondence here and there.
1:33.1	Amy Bird got acquainted with his material.
1:34.7	We passed it along to Carl and we said, we've got to get this guy on to talk about these issues.
1:38.8	So our guest is Darrell Harrison.

1:47.0	who has studied everywhere from, from Liberty University to Princeton Theological Seminary. So he
