A social experiment is a type of psychological or sociological research experiment for testing

reactions to certain situation to events.

Is that like a flash mob?

The experiment depends solely on a particular social approach, where a source of information,

where the source of information is people, and their knowledge to a point of view.

So to carry out an experiment, people would normally divide participants in two groups,

active participants, and respondents, and throughout of it, throughout the experiment,

they're monitored to identify different effects and results, etc.

The first one ever made, so we know, the known ones, 1895, his name was Norman Triplet,

and he made it constructed one of the first where he found out that cyclists managed to

ride a bike faster when they race against another person rather than the clock.

And then he duplicated the experiment in a laboratory using kids and fishing reels, and

it got the same result.

All the social experiments had proved to be efficient because of the natural setting

that they're in, instead of being in a lab.

Social-social experiments are actually like super common today, obviously, I mean, even

focus groups, you could say, in a way like-

Have you ever been part of a focus group?

Oh, yeah.
