Can family members who don't live together but who have been fully vaccinated gather

together and share a mail in one of their private homes without masks and social distancing?

These are the types of questions I get more than any other.

When can I see my family again without needing to worry about potentially getting them sick?

It's been a long year for all of us and in many cases it's been so much harder because

it's also meant that we've had to keep our distance from loved ones.

But there is some good news and I'm excited to share it with you today.

Now that more people are getting vaccinated the CDC has also updated its guidance to allow

small gatherings of family and friends under specific circumstances.

So today I wanted to walk you through that new guidance, explain how it came about and

also explain what it says about what people can and cannot do once they are fully vaccinated.

We've been through a lot this past year and with more and more people getting vaccinated

each day we are starting to turn a corner.

On Monday she explained that there is growing evidence to suggest that fully vaccinated

people can begin to gather in small groups in two very specific situations.

So let's go through them.

The first is if every member of a household has been vaccinated they can gather in small

private settings with people who are in households where everyone has also been fully vaccinated.
