I'm one of your hosts, Elliot Morgan, and I'm here with your second host, Dr. Peter

Rollins.

Today we're going to be discussing Noam Chomsky.

We're going to be discussing La Khan, Foucult, Foucault, however you say his name, maybe even

a little bit of Gishech.

We're going to be talking about things like postmodernism, things like justice and power,

and other ideas that I'm not entirely sure what they mean.

The reason we're talking about this this week, folks, is because Chomsky is one of those names I hear all the time.

He'll pop up in everything from intellectual discourse to some of my favorite rap lyrics, namely run the jewels.

Such lines as I'm reading Chomsky, I'm reading Bukowski, something like that.

Anyway, I hear his name all the time. And I never hear my buddy Pete talk about

Chomsky. I don't know why that is. It's not on the tip of Pete's tongue very often. I wonder if

there are some ideological differences. I don't know. I'd love to find out. And I'd love to find out

what it is that Chomsky even believes. And hey, I got an idea. Let's talk about postmodernism.

Is there any truth in it? Who can say? Pete, how are you?

I said something on behalf of my people and I popped up in WikiLeaks. See, I know all the rap. This is just going to be me reciting rap lyrics. Anyway, that's where you get all of your

academic stuff from. It really is, yeah. So, well, who is he? And I know Chomsky's a linguist,

and I know Chomsky. I watched a 12-minute clip of him. I've seen him badmouthed people like Lecon. I've heard him talk about postmodernists

as people who no one understands what they're talking about. I think that's humorous. I think he's
