week but there was some news around Curtis

Jones getting a new and extended contract at Anfield we'll start with that we'll

talk a little bit about the World Cup as well though I have to say it doesn't quite

feel like it is the eve of a major tournament.

We'll come to all of that in just a few minutes time.

But of course they'll come to you first.

Obviously Curtis Jones, one of the bigger news stories of this week it came out of the blue a little bit but

no doubt good news for Curtis good news for Liverpool as well I'd say despite a

mixed reaction on social media as you might expect but yeah certainly a positive for the

young Liverpool midfielder. Yeah I'm not interested in the kind of like mixed reaction

thing from social media because more and more idiots just kind of infest sites like Twitter don't be.

I've never heard anyone in person criticize Curtis Jones.

You might have reservations over certain things that he's able to do or certain things

he doesn't do or whether he's kicked on enough. Jordan's career is, I think he's played

80 odd times to Liverpool now. But he's only 21 and you know if you're looking at someone who's that young

who's kind of achieved what he has already in the game you look at someone who's got so much

potential aren't you?

You know if he was on the market you'd be thinking he'd be someone who'd do a really good job for
