Blaze Radio Network. And now chewing the fat with Jeff Fisher. I read a story yesterday about Coca-Cola's marketing move that I had not heard before.

And I thought it was genius.

And it solved, according to them, obviously, it solved a real human problem millions face every year.

So the challenge is the freshmen entering college often feel alone in a new place,

unsure, how to make friends, stuck in an awkward silence, loneliness peaks during those first few weeks.

So Coca-Cola asked a different question, according to this, instead of selling more soda, how can we make students feel less lonely?

And what they did was genius.

So across campuses in Asia, Coca-Cola placed vending machines, but the bottles weren't normal.

They came with a twist that no one really expected.

Each bottle cap was designed so it couldn't be opened alone.

The only way to drink your Coke was find another student

and the caps only worked when they were paired together

and opened up the Coke.

So I mean, suddenly you were having a conversation and you had to approach someone new,

you had to share a laugh, you had to break the ice, and you had to remarkable, you know,

people that had never spoken before were laughing and they were forming friendships.
