It is 8 o'clock on a Monday night and I'm very excited to be recording the podcast with Elizabeth Holmes of so many thoughts and the new HRH book and I'm your

host Ann Gripper and it feels like we sort of know each other because we've been seeing each other in the

internet for the last few years but it's fabulous to be on a call with you.

Anne, I'm so thrilled to be here. I am a long-time listener, first-time caller, and thrilled for the chance to chat with you.

So it's obviously evening here, thank you to my lovely husband for making me dinner before recording,

but I do promise I haven't had any wine.

I'm possibly just a little bit excitable because I am wearing my new hat band.

I think it counts as a hat band. It's not... Oh it does.

And I was like, I'm seeing Elizabeth, I have to have a hat band. I've been once we one for a while this is a perfect excuse so bit of birthday voucher action from my in-laws so thank you to them as well. It is catching the light beautifully it's sort of sparkling a little bit it's it's I love it you have to

dress up for a Zoom call sometimes like you like stuck at home we've got to get the good stuff out so anyway

it's brilliant to have you on and it's because you've got your first first

first book out HRH looking at a fashion of the Royals and I have to share a comment with you first of all from Joy Engel because I have asked our listeners if they have some questions

But Joy just wanted to say you're parenting in a pandemic and wrote a book. Have you heard today that you're doing great?

Joy, that's so kind of you, thank you.

It is really sweet, is it just maybe it's fun and just like,

oh actually some days we just need someone to say, oh, yes, well done.

Everything is good.

But you are doing great.

It's very exciting to see this all come to fruition. I mean you've got a background in business sort of business and fashion journalism back in the day and now you're a star of Instagram like how how has all of this happened? I know I know it's kind of wild and I would love to say that it was strategic in some way but it certainly was not I spent a decade on staff at the Wall Street Journal which is a prominent financial newspaper based in New York.
