Summary

E21 - CONTENT WARNING / TRIGGER WARNING: references to child sex abuse, child  sex abuse  materials, survivor accounts

Watch this episode on YouTube!

The Epstein Files have been released--or have they? Days after the Department of Justice’s delayed and poorly-redacted release of millions of new documents connected with the world’s most infamous sex trafficker, we sit down for a first look at what is (and isn’t) in here. We begin with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s attempt to fight for the right to party with Jeffrey Epstein before evaluating the DOJ’s efforts to comply with its Congressional mandate to release the files more than a month after they were supposed to. We also look at a heartbreaking journal from an anonymous survivor to  try to understand before Matt pulls out some selections from keyword searches which implicate Elon Musk, mega-financier Leon Black, magician David Copperfield,  sitting Secretary of the Treasury Howard Lutnick, former Obama administration lawyer Kathy Ruemmler, and many more.  Also: what to make about the wilder allegations you may have heard involving Donald Trump, and what it means to “be in the Epstein files” at all.

NEXT TIME: the most disgusting plea deal in American history somehow gets… worse?

  1. Epstein Files Transparency Act, PL 119-38 (11/19/2025)

  2. Epstein Library search page, DOJ.gov

  3. (CW/TW) Anonymous survivor’s  journal, removed from DOJ Epstein Library but backed up to Archive.org on 2/1/26 (CW/TW)

Hello and welcome to opening arguments. This is it's Wednesday and it's pedophile response Wednesday. That's what we've always called it. I'm Thomas. That over there is real life immigration attorney. Matt Cameron,

0:22.5

how are you doing, Matt? I've been better, Thomas. This is a lot. There's a whole lot of Jeffrey

0:28.0

Epstein to talk about. Ooh, yeah. It's a lot of other people. Yeah, a lot of other people,

0:33.9

more importantly. That's right. And joining us is us is lydia how you doing i am also doing

0:38.6

okay i don't know um and i think what's even more disgusting is this is half of what is supposed to be out

0:47.5

yeah yeah i'm i'm sure we'll get into it first question before we even get going yeah what even is this

0:53.7

in terms of amount?

0:54.9

Do we know? Can we know? Great question. Yeah, no. I mean, AOC has come out and said that there's quite a lot more that we need to be aware that this is just again another drop. I mean, this is three million pages and thousands of videos. As we'll talk about shortly, some very ill-conceived stuff. but not all of it was supposed to have been out.

1:13.6

And it's as we've been talking about over the last couple of episodes, when we're talking about Upstein, the redaction almost seems random sometimes. And it certainly wasn't what it was supposed to be. So, you know, this is late. It's bad. It's not enough. Lazy. But there is a lot of stuff. And lazy.

1:27.7

Yeah, of course.

1:29.0

But, you know, we'll get into what it's actually in here. But, you know, I'm happy to be talking to everybody about it. I think it's important. I think people need to know. Again, three million pages have not had time to read at least a million of them. Yeah. Well, did the full, did the full 3 million actually come out?

1:45.9

Or was that what he's saying there was?

1:47.1

And then I thought he said like...

1:48.0

That's right. of them. Yeah. Well, did the full, did the full three million actually come out? Or was that what he's

1:46.5

saying there was? And then I thought he said like half of that. Then they pulled it. Yes. So if you

1:51.4

And then they pulled it. Yeah. Well, there's several things. Yeah. Yeah. If you actually downloaded the

1:55.9

initial release, which I did not, and I had other things to do this weekend initially, but you ended up

2:00.2

downloading child sex abuse material. The Department of Justice was distributing

2:03.9

underage minors. So I saw that and I, you know, this is like turning something awful into

2:11.5

something awful minus 0.01%. But I thought I saw that it was not confirmed if it was actually underage people just

2:19.8

like appeared like they could have been. But that's the last thing I saw the New York Times said. I don't know if they. Yeah, there's a chance at least that there was. But at the very least, there's a lot of stuff in that it shouldn't have been that we'll talk about. For sure. Yeah. But that's, so that's scary. I was just imagining how, like, I feel like the next amazing Trump justice system move,

2:38.7

Trump DOJ move would be if they start prosecuting people for having what they
