A surprisingly large amount of people don't know about Norwegian butter mines.

It's a whole thing.

So there's all different kinds of economies going on around the planet, or as Eddie

Izard says it, you know there are other countries, right, when he's talking to Americans.

And therefore, you've really got to, like, examine the economic strengths and weaknesses of other

models.

And Norway is a very interesting country.

Because Norway, Scandinavian, just like Sweden and Denmark, and they've got a very similar

economy.

But they're also basing it off different economic productivity.

They've got a huge glut of oil, for instance, that the other countries don't have, even Iceland,

that the other Nordic countries, a lot of European countries don't have.

They've just a huge glut of Norwegian oil, and a large amount of that oil is used for taxes

and infrastructure, and they get to of that oil is used for taxes and infrastructure,

and they get to charge more for that kind of thing.

The country of Norway about 10 years ago decided we're going to just take a large amount

of this oil revenue, this oil tax money that we all make, and we're just going to set

it aside.

We're going to help electric carmakers electrify Norway. And Norway is the most electrified electric car maker in the world because of that transition. But they did it because of oil money. They had that oil money. But even with all that oil money, even with the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world, Norway has that per capita, our largest sovereign wealth fund in the world. Very impressive. Even with all these

great structures and these great incentives and the average education of the worker, you can still,

in a country like Norway, run out of basic necessities and there can be held to pay. This is
