Okay, ladies and gentlemen, Phil Perry will join in just a moment. But if you hadn't had enough

Snubgate, you've come to the right place. Snubgate, day three, rolls on Tom Brady releasing a video

earlier today, which in essence revisits his comments that he made about Patriots fans in October,

which really revisits the comments he made about Patriots fans in March of 2020.

More than anything, the video is a salute to his teammates and his family here in New England

and the 20 years he spent here.

Why does this continue?

Well, it continues because Brady decided to tweak the Patriots a little bit. Phil Belichick, of course, I think,

was coerced into releasing a statement on Wednesday night, saying, I am privileged to have

drafted and coach Tom Brady, the ultimate competitor and winner. Tom's humble beginning

and professional football ultimately ended with him becoming the best player in NFL history.

I thank Tom for his relentless pursuit of excellence and positive impact on me and the Patriots for 20 years.

Now, that statement actually includes a promotion because two years ago, Brady was described as a special person and the

greatest quarterback of all time. So Lawrence Taylor has been lapped and Reggie White and Barry

Sanders and Jim Brown and Jerry Rice and Joe Montana. Good for Tom, good for Bill. The upshot of

this, though, is that there's no way that Belichick wasn't asked from higher up to put this statement out.

Why?

Because he kind of hates the window dressing and the falseness of all this stuff in the first place.

I'm sure that he felt similar to Brady in that Belichick said the stuff two years ago and again in October that he was being asked to say again now.

I can imagine he really didn't care that much that he wasn't included in Brady's statement
