what happened to Doug Loves movies last night,

coming to you from a hotel room in New York City on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018.

Yep. Last night's Douglas movies got canceled because of the Nor-Easter, which even though it dumped a lot of snow, it did it slowly,

and it was more of a snore Easter.

But, you know, yesterday afternoon on the news, they were saying that as a state of emergency,

nobody leave your house, don't drive a car, stay off the road so we could plow them.

You know, the governor was saying all that shit. And, you know, there was a good chance that the snow

was just going to start coming down heavier,

like around the time of my show at the Gramercy Theater,

and then the concern was that all the employees of the Gramercy Theater

had to get home after the show,

and then, you know, the comics that I had booked on the show, they were all

like totally down with doing it. I was down with doing it. But, you know, you have to respect the

venue's decision. But, you know, all the comics probably just went out and did other shows and just ran around the city. Because, you know, all the comics probably just went out and did other shows and just ran around the city because it was strangely a little easier to get around because everyone was being told to stay home.

I went and saw a Broadway show. I saw Mean Girls. It's in previews, so I can't really talk about what I thought of it other than I loved it.

And that place was packed with people.

I put up an Instagram photo saying, what blizzard?

And all the people in all the Broadway shows, all the actors, all the crew, all the theater staffs, they all had to get home after the show.
