Riyadh shares his experience of coming out to his parents, the importance of queer spaces, and how his relationship with religion changed after coming out. Riyadh also talks about why he decided to write his book ‘The Gay Guide’, and why it’s important to talk about what happens after you come out to yourself. Him and Hannah talk about the guilt and shame that’s often associated with sex, and how Riyadh overcame this. Finally, they discuss reclaiming the word queer and who gets to use this word.
