It is the 25th year of the 6th age, the 15th anniversary of the defeat of Valisar.

Every year on this date, the citizens of Brannus commemorate this event by hosting a large festival in the rebuilt city of High Rock, inviting every race to the island

to celebrate their freedom while honoring those who fell whilst standing up against their oppressor.

All week long, there is singing, dancing, and a great feast, and it all

culminates with the great bloom when the tyrants tree blossoms and releases its flowers

to the world, reminding everyone that evil can be defeated and replaced by beauty.

There's so much music and merriment that people hardly notice when Edwin Balovar, former

cleric of Sylvana and second in command of Norwich walks to the dais to address the crowd.

He has aged greatly since you saw him last.

The responsibilities of his position have worn on him, represented in each wrinkle and fold on his gentle and warm face,

his wispy white hair is tucked under the hood of his green robes,

and his golden cords, sinched at the waist, sway and twist in the breeze.

He holds out his hands to silence the crowd.

Citizens of Brannis, thank you for being here on this 15th anniversary of our reclamation of this land.

And as he does, there's a bit of applause, uproar, everyone gets very excited.

It's so great to see so many different peoples here today representing the best of Brannus and its ideals.

I'm reminded of that

day 15 years ago, when as one united people we stood against the tyranny

that sought to enslave us and showed evil that together we are stronger.

Together we have hope and we have achieved victory and everyone just erupts with applause at this moment.

It's all Edwin can do to settle down the crowd. He waved his hands to
