Well, this is an episode about slowness. And in fine, slow fashion, I had intended to get

this episode out in time for the solstice, but it all went a little slower than I'd planned.

The good thing is that slowness, slow primordial space time, that billion-year gestational womb space, is perpetually relevant, and

always one breath away.

So the slow is just as vital now as it was a week ago, and a year ago, and 10,000 years

ago.

The quick and rapid may have forgotten itself already, burned itself out, moved on to next year's trends and fashions.

But the slow, as Milan Kandera says, the slow remembers.

So, yes, this is an episode about slowness.

So also consider listening to it in an environment that is conducive to slowing down,

on a mat, in a glade, by a brook, probably not while driving, probably not while at work.

a little. For this episode, I had a conversation with Leah song from Rising Appalachia about the power

of the slow. One of the things that Leah spoke about is how slow space, so vital to the artistic

process, neither here nor their space, unproductive space, isn't highly esteemed in our world.
