Last week we started learning a lot from a church that was suffering.

The church was one of the seven that received a letter from Jesus in the Book of Revelation.

Nancy's been teaching through these letters, continuing with the Church of Smyrna in the

series Faithfulness and the Crown of Life.

Some of you may be familiar with a Christian mission called Gospel for Asia.

It's a ministry that has 16,000 national missionaries who plant churches and evangelize in some

of the most difficult countries of the world, countries that are close to the Gospel in

many cases, and where there is widespread persecution of believers.

I came across recently an interview with the founder and president of Gospel for Asia,

KP Johanon, and the article was called, the interview was called, Persecution is part

of the deal.

And here's what Mr. Johanon had to say in that interview.

He said, India is a place of persecution and suffering for anyone fulfilling the Great

Commission.
