Summary

Once again, we have a green light: 120 from the hole in the fairway. How different are amateurs and pros? In this episode, Lou asks Mark and Greg how 10 and 20 index golfers compare on this shot to a Tour pro. And perhaps a lot of 10s and 20s have their expectations set by the Tour numbers, rather than reality closer to home.

Each of these will be a mini-episode (10-15 minutes long) about an interesting golf stat. We will discuss what you can learn, and most importantly, how you can apply this on the golf course to lower your scores and lower your handicap. Listen on your drive to the golf course or over your Saturday morning coffee!

Data is sourced from Arccos Golf. They have over 1 BILLION shots in their database. Check them out at: https://www.arccosgolf.com/

0:15.7

I really do.

0:16.2

What I do know is if I've won two in a row, Greg has definitely been texting the answers for the third

0:21.7

one because no one wants me winning three in a row.

0:24.6

No, no, no.

0:25.6

Chines of cheating already.

0:26.6

I haven't even started.

0:27.6

Yeah, no.

0:28.6

That is not, not going on.

0:30.6

All right, today we're talking about scoring average from 120 yards in the fairway.

0:36.6

You're in the fairway. You're 120 yards from

0:40.0

the hole. What is the scoring average? So the average number of shots to get the ball in the

0:45.2

hole. We're going to do three players today, three skill levels. And we're going to mix. We're going to mix.

0:51.0

We're going to do a 20 index, a 10 index, and a Torpro. Oh. So a 20 index, a 10 index,

0:58.7

and a Torpro. And that is their scoring average from 120 yards in the fairway. And because there's

1:06.9

three different guesses today, we'll do the best of three for the winner.

1:13.2

So 120 yards in the ferry.

1:15.4
