A completely Cargill curated month of programming. And I, you know, it's interesting. The way you've been doing it is basically, you know, telling me at the beginning of the week what movie we're covering.

And it's this odd sort of Russian roulette.

I never know exactly what you're going to pick.

But man, did you hit upon a good one today?

Yeah, yeah.

I, uh, this is something I've been wanting to actually talk about for a while.

And it all kind of crystallized this weekend when I watched Gunpowder Milkshake.

And me and Jess just sat down and had this great conversation about this genre that doesn't have a name, that we all know what it is, but there isn't, you know, nobody's ever like kind of crystallized

it as its own subgenre, and it really is a subgenre of crime fantasy.

You know, people who aren't as film literate will look at a movie like gunpowder milkshake

and say, oh, it's just trying to be John Wick.

And it's like, uh, it's trying to be John Wick and a lot of other things at the same time.

It's trying to be John Wick and a handful of drugs at the same time.
