Okay guys the weekside podcast is back if this is a if this week is a

weather condition and it's before the draft draft we're recording this on a Monday, the draft is on a Thursday.

I would say that it is foggy outside. There is not much we can see in front of us despite the draft that we're looking forward to very much being

near so I'm going to bring in Jenny Rentis we're going to jump right in with our

favorite pre-draft smoke screens. This is, I think that you very wisely pointed this

out on a earlier show that we did, this is the time, right? This is when everything

gets totally nuts. There is the week where we all seem to kind of

figure out what the group think is, and then there is the week where everything goes totally psycho and then like right before the

draft it seems like everything evens out again I feel like we're on the tail end of

still of totally psycho I agree I think rarely do you hear something that comes up these last few days that's

actually what's going to happen I think one exception was when all of a sudden

it emerged the week of the draft that Baker Mayfield would be the number one pick a couple years ago

But usually what comes out now is just a bunch of jibber-jabber and there's not a lot of truth to it.

Like I remember last year I was in Nashville and one of the big rumors there was that

Ed Oliver was going to be the jet's pick at number three.

And that was kind of, I don't know about this, you know, it seemed pretty solid

that I was going to be Quinn and Williams and, but it was like a late rumor that just seemed to be everywhere

and of course it wasn't true.

Williams was the pick for the Jets and Oliver went to the bills but that was like one

example I think of like a late you know late rumor that surged and that really typifies the

smokescreen period. Okay so I'm gonna ask you which has been your favorite so far this year and we'll talk about them a little bit
