I started off this morning at work just like I do almost any other morning at work.

Use my car key to scan myself into the parking lot, go and park my car, get my stuff ready, walk inside the roll call room, and look for my assignment.

Today when I got in there, everybody was talking about an active shooter that was still going on in South Nashville at the Smile Direct Club warehouse.

I'm going to give a real quick rundown of some of the stuff that happened today, as well as play some excerpts from 911 calls, placed from that facility.

The Metro Police Department also released some of the body-worn camera footage, and I'll play a little bit of that as well.

This is all started this morning, August 3rd,

about 30 minutes before my shift started, just before 6 a.m.

Hello, 911.

We've got a warehouse shooting in a lot of practice.

He's talking about it. He's going to be shooting everywhere. Are you? Are you? We got a warehouse shooting in a yard place. I can't talk or keep the gun.

Okay.

He's shooting everywhere.

As I've said before on some of these incidents, it's kind of hard to say exactly what you're going to be thinking or how you're going to process this information if you're thrust in the middle of something like this an active shooter

this caller seemed like she was pretty hysterical and she kept saying just smiled her at

club over and over again and then she hung up the phone would he get another call and several

other calls too this is the other one that was released though today.
