We've made it far enough along in this series that, by now, you've figured out one of

my big weaknesses.

Names I cannot pronounce them consistently if I get them right at all.

Not just for people, but titles and towns, and anything with a name.

It's terrible.

I apologize.

I don't know what I'm doing narrating an audio series anyway.

Where are the pros?

Well, one pro, Jason Fogone, sat down with me the other day so that I could ask him about

his extraordinary book on Elizabeth Friedman, which, despite all the other resources, was

the text I kept coming back to.

It's that beautifully written.

And you've been listening to me say his name over and over as I credit him within the

series for that work.

You've been hearing me say, Fogone.

Guess what?

It's Fogone with a long E.

So now you'll get to hear the mortifying moment where although Jason and I have spoken

before, I've never said his name to him.

And when I did, he corrected it.

And we're so far along that I can't go back and correct it for you throughout the narrative

episodes.
