So today we are interviewing Will Rind.

Very well, Kirk. How are you? Good. So we wanted to bring Will on because Will has a background in many different areas in finance, ETFs and gold specifically, which are areas that I know a lot of people have been interested in hearing about.

Will, why do you tell us a little bit about your background to start so people know where you're coming from? I'm from a town called Aberdeen, which is the northeast part of Scotland.

I got started and investing with a Japanese investment bank just after college called Namura

and then made my way into the asset management business. And I sort of got involved in

ETFs because I was working for a company

at the time which folks will now know as BlackRock, but we really were doing the first

ETFs in the world. And so launching ETFs at that time, it was in Europe, but really it was a new

product category in the market. And so started doing that and then really sort of dedicated my career from that point

up until now to these investment products and to the industry of ETF.

So from there, I got involved in the startup, which became very successful that was

sort of largely focused on the commodity sector. And then just

actually before this, I was the CEO at the largest gold fund in the world, the ETF called GLD.

And then I left and set up my own company, Granite shares. And that's what I've been doing for

the last or three years. But again, we're focused on ETFs, exchange trade products.

So you've got a good bit of background in ETFs, and I want to kind of touch on each of them.
