Welcome to the Laker Filmroom podcast, brought by the Blue Rard Podcast Network.

I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike.

And last night, Lakers lost their home opener, 103 to 97, to the Clippers.

In a game that was competitive, but also reflected the Lakers' terrible

shooting struggles, especially guard trio that ended up shooting one for 25 in that game.

But before we get into the basketball and the specifics, that was a game where the Lakers

fought back a couple of times. They were down by 16 at one point, I think 18 at another point, and the Lakers clawed back a couple of times in ways that last season, for example, their runs were usually, you know, fake runs, fourth quarter down 25 and like, ah, we've cut it to 10.

And it's like, yeah, it's not really it. That wasn't what it was.

Lakers went, had another really good close to the second quarter. They ended up catching and

passing the clippers in the fourth and played some good ball. But down the stretch, they

got some stops, but they weren't able to make a shot. And so that that is the story.
