Good day happy Thursday night everybody can you get a chance to talk NBA small forward rankings now

0:07.6

These would be coming fast and furious as we lead up to the top 10 players in the NBA and what struck me here before we get into our

0:14.9

Creature here for what a small forward is etc. Is just simply how many of the top 10 players in the NBA might be on this

0:22.4

Particularly less right now that struck me and also what struck me was I generally do after the the ranked guys

0:29.3

So I do ranked guys and then I continue the tears after that and I just ran out of so I I just there's a way to strive it

0:35.7

So I generally do three boxes after the main groups and I sort those as many as they seem fit

0:40.4

So I do kind of like clear starters possible starters, but are probably better as backups and then guys that are definitely

0:45.7

Deserving a rotation spot, but shouldn't start and I looked at it for the shooting guards and I had I think

0:51.4

58 players and in this one I have 38 players and that is a huge difference especially when you consider some of these teams

0:58.8

Like the Boston Celtics have more than one guy. Yeah, and there is definitely a big drop off between

1:05.6

The best guys at this position and replacement level

1:08.4

I think small forward probably has the lowest replacement level and that's even where we're kind of maybe shoe-horning some guys in here who would be more likely

1:16.3

You know their best position might be power forward, but the way we're doing this is what would you play on most NBA teens and

1:23.3

Power ford since centers are easier to find than good combo ford so LeBron James for example

1:29.1

He handles the ball all the time most teams like on the Lakers this year

1:32.7

He's largely going to play small forward just because they're not gonna have another small forward

1:37.6

Who's gonna push him down the positional spectrum same thing here if you look at the Celtics Jalen Brown

1:43.9

Generally starts at the two. I mean they really have three guys you have Hayward Brown and Tatum all those guys are

1:50.4

Probably natural small ford most teams in the league they would start at small ford they'd be better than the incumbent small ford

1:56.5

But because the Celtics have this embarrassment of riches at the position

1:59.4

You know you can argue of who's the two and who's the four when all those guys play together

2:03.8

But they would naturally be small ford so that's why they all are going to be ranked here and that and
