You know, we are in an interesting time.

We're starting to see folks come out announcing

that they're running for office.

We're starting to see folks come out,

start stomping, you know,

start seeing Obama crawled out from,

you know, beneath his members only jacket.

You see Gavin Newsom out here talking

and you know, you just start to realize like,

oh, there is no election like very soon

because by the way, a year and a half is very soon

and that election is for the next president.

And I don't think that people understand

because I feel like it's still something we need to drive home

that the election is also gonna be

for legislative positions in the Senate

and the House of Representatives as well as locally.

And in the preparation for this,

I want us to start really thinking about

what does a candidate look like that we want to get behind?
