Happy Tuesday or whatever day you're listening and we're going to jump into today's

devotional.

Yes, you guys, let's do it today.

We are reading out of 2 Samuel 11 verse 1 and the devotional is titled Stay True to God.

It says in the spring of the year when kings normally go out to war, David sent Joab and

the Israelite army to fight the Ammonites.

They destroyed the Ammonite army and laid siege to the city of Rapa.

However David stayed behind in Jerusalem.

The love letter from God says, beloved child, I am all the strength you need.

Each day that I give you has a divine purpose, but only you can make the decision to live

it out.

I want you to be careful about where you go and what you do with your time.

Every day you will face an internal struggle.

You will either choose your own path or choose to live as my child.

If you quiet yourself, you will hear me whisper which way you should go.

When you come to me, I will fuel your strength and give you direction.

Where I send you, I will go before you and protect you.

But if you walk away from me, you are rejecting my protection.
