Across Ukraine's southern front line, soldiers are fighting a slow slog to reclaim territory taken by Russian.

Foot by foot through forests and fields, rather than mile by mile, as hoped by so many.

Countless Russian minds are the invisible enemies.

and while Ukraine's military confirms its forces are trying to push south from Zappareza region,

likely toward the Russian occupied city of Melitopol, then to the Sea of Azov, about 100 miles away,

to cut off Russia's access to Crimea.

Gaining ground foot by foot instead of mile by mile as they were hoping, I saw one story.

because of a whole bunch of super fancy cathedrals and buildings in their downtown and I saw some pictures before it got bombed or what it looked like.
