A very warm welcome to a very special on the tape podcast. Guy Adami, I'm always joined by Dan

0:07.8

Nathan, but today we're joined by Danny Moses, Vincent Daniel, Porter Collins, and Steve Quirk,

0:16.0

the chief brokerage officer at Robin Hood. Dan, we had a great day and a half down there in Florida.

0:21.7

Yeah, a great couple days down there. Robin Hood's first ever trader summit, I think over

0:26.5

500 folks down there. You and I got to talk to a whole heck of a lot of them. If we sound a little

0:31.4

talked out, we probably are. We did a bunch of panels. The conversation you're going to hear

0:36.2

just after this, after we give a quick wrap on the week that was here in the markets, I guess with the new all-time high guy and the S&P 500, a lot of earnings got going.

0:45.5

But we had Steve Quirk on stage, Danny Moses of the On the Tape podcast, Vincent, Daniel, Porter, Collins.

0:51.8

And we had a great conversation with them, as you said, also joined by

0:55.4

Steve Quirk. Lots of interesting insights into the retail trader. So Robin Hood, new great partner

1:00.1

of ours, so you're going to enjoy that conversation. All right, guy, a bunch of earnings,

1:04.4

a bunch of big moves this week, like I just said, S&P, new all-time high. What stuck out to you?

1:10.6

What are some of the names, some of the themes

1:12.4

as we get into, really the neat of earnings for Q3 and Q4 guidance over the next couple of weeks?

1:18.2

Yeah, I think the week was dominated by, in my opinion, just a couple names. Obviously,

1:22.2

Taiwan Semi, the news we got out of Taiwan Semi was extraordinary in terms of what they

1:26.9

reported on the revenue side

1:28.4

and enthusiasm around demand. I think the Morgan Stanley quarter was very good as well. But the

1:33.9

week started with a very disappointing number out of ASML, which is obviously in the chip world,

1:39.5

but it was all bad things XAI. So people were trying to connect the dots this week in terms of,

1:45.1

did ASML point to the top of the AI trade or was it something else? And I think, at least here

1:50.4

on this Friday morning, the market is coming to realize it may be something else.
