Joe joined Dr. K on Charlie Hooper's podcast, Charisma on Command, where they talked about authenticity and what charisma really is.

This is a really fun one, and there's a lot of gems in it, so I wanted to release it on our own podcast as well. And I really

hope you enjoy it. Joe, All Oak, wonderful to have both of you guys here. I'm thrilled to be here,

man. This is like super exciting. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. So I have spent 20 years trying to

figure out charisma. And there's only a few people that I would genuinely ask this question to, so I'm very excited to do it.

How is it that you guys understand charisma? Do you see it primarily as behaviors, mindsets, something else?

You're going to kick things off?

Yeah. I make a distinction when I think about charisma is there's two forms of charisma.

There's the form of charisma that is I have learned a set of behaviors that allow people to,

like me, be convinced by me.

I think typically that's, I would call it like a slimy form of

charisma.

Okay.

And the thing about it, the notable thing about it is that it doesn't last very long.

Like that kind of charisma can can hold in a relationship from, you know, maybe three to six

months.

And then at best best maybe just the length

of a car sales you know like some somewhere in there and then there's the a form of charisma that is

just basically uh i would call it authenticity and aliveness where there's somebody who is so deeply
