How to Find and hit on Sleepers. That's what we're talking about this week on stealing bananas.

0:15.7

The first show of the week. We went through mainly running back and receiver what profiles

0:20.4

were looking for. Sean gave so many of his tips for what you're looking at and running back in receiver. So if there's names that we maybe don't mention you can go do your own research and find guys that are really interesting. But of course show two is the player specific one. This is where we sit and we're going to talk about all of these players. We're just going to give all of our our sleepers our late round picks guys that we like guys that we're on we talk about having sort of tighter player pool certainly in the later rounds you have to be open to a lot of different options but there's a lot of players that I won't even draft in the later rounds I know that's also true for you Sean these are the guys that we're actually considering based on our construction and where we're at and whatever league we're playing in. Yeah, I should introduce this. I'm Ben Gretchen. Find me on Twitter at Yards for Gretsch. You can find my substack at Ben Gresh.com. And with me, as always, is Sean Siegel, who all of his work is at rovus. It's fantastic. You have to make sure you're

1:11.8

reading everything Sean writes. And Sean, this will be a really, really fun show. It should be.

1:17.5

And I want to start off by mentioning a staff that didn't make it into the previous show,

1:22.7

sort of promote one of our tools a little bit, the Rodebus screener, which is a fantasy douche tool.

1:27.1

We've got great tools, guys on the site right now who have built a bunch of new stuff and maintain the

1:32.6

screener in a fantastic way. But if you want to get into an old FD tool that allows you to do

1:37.6

all kinds of crazy things, the screener is that. I was using it yesterday to look up the sleepers

1:43.2

and try to get a little bit of a

1:44.4

context for how many sleepers there really are that make this big impact and you know

1:50.6

where are they coming from who should be targeting but the numbers I think are so helpful

1:56.3

for sort of calibrating our expectations we talked in the last show about how many

2:00.3

players are jumping out of the top 100

2:02.6

picks and creating win rates of 15 plus.

2:06.1

We go a little bit deeper, a little bit more into the archives with this.

2:10.4

We look all the way back to 2000.

2:12.2

And then we see that there have been 22 players who are drafted outside the first 100 picks as reality draft picks, right?

2:21.8

So these are sleepers from the perspective of what their teams thought of them as well.

2:26.4

There are 22 guys who have had a season where the previous year they scored 50 points or fewer,

2:32.4

and then they jumped up to this 200 point season so 200 points

2:36.4

always kind of what I'm looking at because 200 or more you're making an impact in the starting lineup
