Summary

Billy needs to learn how to use his powers. Ariella asked Kellius Droman to train him in exchange for Lincoln acting as a bodyguard for Kellius’s teenage daughter, Delilah. Kellius’s response? He needs a protector, not a killer. Bill will have to find training elsewhere. Droman did, however, improve the magical security of the Old Stone Church, for which he charged a high price — a price Ariella and Magda were unable to pay. Ariella asked Lincoln to sell her golem charm for five hundred gold, an amount that would have paid for Droman’s work and then some. Lincoln did not get the amount Ariella asked for, but he did score a nice pawnshop panini maker.
