I don't know if I'm an expert, but we'll give a shot. Well, compared to me, well, you'll do. And how are we introducing you? You're the author.

Well, we might as well mention, especially for this movie, that you're the author of...

A biography of John Blushy called Blushy and a biography of Chris Farley called The Chris Farley Show. Both oral biographies, right? Both oral biographies and both about the sad, tragic, under rally of comedy.

Right, which for our purposes really does make you ideal.

So I guess I am the expert.

So let's start off with a quick plot summary.

I mean, this is being so heavily promoted this movie that if you've seen the trailer,

you pretty much know what it's about.

But let's do some setup. Well, Adam Sandler plays a world-famous celebrity movie star slash stand-up comedian,

a la Robin Williams or Will Ferrell or Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler,

and he finds out in the very first scene, I mean, from the first scene of the movie that he's dying.

He has some strange blood disease.

And the blood disease throughout the whole movie is a bit of a day of sex macina,

but we'll get to that later.
