I was trying to come up with realistic ways that people can save money,

you know, aside from just looking for the best cruise deal out there.

And I kind of zeroed in on this topic as being a true realistic way people can save money

reliably and repeatedly. Yeah, totally. And I think that

one of the reasons why it's such an interesting topic is because the more savvy of a cruiser

you become, the better you get at finding ways to do your own thing in port, book your own

excursions, and you start to kind of wean yourself off

of feeling like you have to book with the cruise line. Absolutely. Yeah. And it is one of the biggest

expenses, you know, aside from the initial booking. Totally. So I kind of wanted to ask you,

why do the excursions cost so much?

It really is a big expense, isn't it? Like if we really did the tours that we always wanted to do on every cruise, let's just say you had three ports, right? Just spitball in here. And let's just say each tour was $100 per person.

And there's three of us. And we did three tours. That's $300 per day. That's $900 per

bucks and excursions right there. Well, if you're doing Alaska, you could easily get in,

yeah, you could get into thousands. Thousands per person per day in Alaska, easily. Without even trying.

So, yeah, so why are they so expensive?

Why are excursions expensive?

But more specifically, kind of why are cruise line excursions expensive, right?
