He was born in 1898 and he didn't get a chance to know his parents.

father and then his mom died of it and then about a year later his dad no six months later his dad died of it.

treated for it when he is youngish so he was raised in San Francisco by his

grandmother now she was a widow and she was super religious but she was kind of

distant kind of overworked kind of weary the kind of mother I hope to be
