Fellas, we've got a lot to get to today as it refers to various Blackhawks prospects.

We saw Team USA really just destroy Germany last night in a world junior championships,

and the Black Hawk's prospects were front and center in that win.

But first, some breaking news this morning.

Black Hawk's first round pick, seventh overall, Kevin Korninski has signed his three-year

entry-level contract, $950,000 salary cap hit.

Now, that doesn't mean he's going to play for the Hawks next year by any means,

but good to see the Hawks locking up their prospects while they can.

Yeah, Kortinski, seventh overall pick.

He was one of the very youngest draft eligible prospects, turned 18, just, I think,

two weeks before the draft. So he'll be 18 all of this season. Very likely will be in the

mix for Team Canada at the Winter World Juniors, and then he'll be 19 all of

the season after that.

We'll very likely again play for Canada at the World Juniors, and then that 2024, 25 season

is when he is first eligible to turn professional and play either in the AHL or NHL.
