Travel Desk Tuesday, of course, and I'm back with my excellent colleague, Deputy Travel Editor, Sophie Dickinson.

But we're going to be having a bit of a discussion today about Sky Scanner.

Of course, you know it's the flight comparison website,

but they have just brought out the opportunity to search and compare package holidays as well.

And I'm interested in how Sophie has found it,

and I'll also be providing my views as well. So Sophie,

how's it look to you? Hi, Simon. I think it looks pretty good, actually. There's, I think it's got

seven operators on that. So we've got a list here, last minute.com, Expedia, love holidays,

Tu-e, easy jet holidays, jettoe holidays, and on the beach, which are obviously lots of very big

tour operators that are useful for your holidays, especially for package holidays. And so it's

quite a cool way to compare not just your flights, but your whole holiday. And I think that could

save people a lot of money because you're not just going to the one operator, you're looking

at many, which is quite a good thing to do.

That has existed for a while with lots of other similar websites, so it's interesting, I think,

that Skyscan is getting in on the scene. And while some of those other sites have more operators to choose from, I think it's a good starting place so far.

I think that possibly there's actually slightly too many operators there. My thinking is that

there is nothing like a proper package holiday for maximum consumer protection. And if you take

the big two, so that's Jet 2, the largest and 2y, which is smaller in the UK, but Europe wide is the biggest.

You have a couple of things. First of all, on a twoy holiday, you'll very often be flying on a

two-e aircraft, on a jet two holiday, well I can't think of any opportunities when that hasn't

happened except for the odd wet-leased aircraft. And all the way through from when
