Hey, Richard. Hey, Doug. So we start things off with an update on the situation in Mexico.

Yeah, and please keep in mind that as we record this, we've got the latest information,

but it could change at any moment because the situation in Mexico has obviously been quite fluid.

Ever since the head of a cartel was taken out, there's been massive violence in the area, and it caused a lot of fear among potential tourists, and not to mention those who were there, the U.S. Embassy issued basically a stay-in-place order.

Things have slowly but surely started returning to normal.

Flights are resuming in and out once again,

but at least one cruise line is operating in the, what's the term we always use in an abundance of caution? Carnival cruise line has said that they're going to be skipping Puerto

to Vierta for the foreseeable future. That could mean one week, it could mean six weeks.

Honestly, I don't think they'll be the only one to make a decision like this. I think

with, you know, the cruise lines are going to definitely want to wait until they know that the situation

is stable and that the area is safe, at least as safe as it can be. You know, it could all,

it could be fine for six months and then explode again. But right now, the only cruise line we're

aware of that has made sort of, I don't know if you can call them long-term

plans, but for the next few weeks is Carnival, and they are stopping, as we said, they're going to

be skipping Puerto Bayarta for the foreseeable future. Yeah, and the cruise lines, of course,

taking this sailing by sailing or case by case, so they're not actually being proactive

in telling us, as in like

you or I, we're getting this from listeners who are emailing their correspondence into our tip
