We're turning the tables on Amanda Howard.

The serial killer whisperer. Amanda Howard, how are you feeling?

Terrified because I don't have a script, so I don't know what's coming.

There is no script. There literally is no script.

Now, Amanda and I went to high school together.

We were best friends, and then we sort of parted ways as we went and lived our lives, having different adventures.

And when we reconnected, I found out she was into true crime in a big way.

In fact, she sent letters to serial killers.

Amanda, how did all that start?

Yeah, my parents hoped it was a phase, but 35 years later, it's still going.

So it started basically with the Grady Killer in Sydney. So that was 89. He was captured and it was this huge case that this man who had been attacking these women around Sydney.

And we spoke about this way when we did a live episode once. And he was just so normal and ordinary.

And I'm thinking, hang on a sec.

These are serial killers.
