but he's going to call us from there when he gets a moment. Look, the Redskins just played

one of the best games they've played all year long.

Maybe it's not the best game they've played because they've won some games and they've

looked impressive in a few games, but I thought this was one of their best games all year long.

They lost the game. And in a bottom line league, they lost. And in a few months,

it'll be remembered mostly because it was a loss. But it had a chance to be so much more.

It had a chance to be one of the more memorable and improbable wins in recent franchise history.

But it wasn't.

It wasn't.

But if you watched that team yesterday, knowing what they had out there in terms of players,

their fourth quarterback, offensive guards who had replaced offensive guards,

who had replaced the second string offensive guards,

I don't know how many guards they've had this season,

but it seems like Brandon Sheriff and Sean LaValle was like two years ago at this point.

Yesterday they were without their two top tight ends.

For that matter, really, as a practical matter,

their two best pass-catching threats in Jordan Reed and Vernon

Davis. You knew Reed was going to be out, but Vernon Davis ended up being out. So was Mo Harris,

and it looked like Josh Doxon was going to be out, but he was active for the game. Thankfully,
