And on today's show, we're going to talk about social justice and the role that risk-taking plays

in achieving it.

We've all heard the expression, skin in the game, and that refers to the risk one is willing to take to achieve a goal

and decision-makers tend to risk more when they don't have enough skin in the game

when they have very little to lose. We saw this with bankers and the financial

crisis. The bankers are made whole and the rest of us pay the price. The same applies to war.

It's easy for a president or a congressperson to send other people a war when you or anyone you love doesn't have to actually fight it

The same applies to decisions we make in everyday life
