Summary

Welcome to a special bonus episode of Skimm This, breaking down what we know – and don’t know – about the election results so far.  First, the race for the White House. Spoiler: we still don’t have a winner, but we’ll explain which states hold the keys for an electoral college victory and where the vote-count stands right now.  Then, we’ll bring you the latest on who’s likely to have majority control in the Senate and the House. And finally, we’ll spotlight some key state laws that voters changed at the polling booth – from legalizing drugs to changing their flags. Skimm'd by Alex Carr, Justine Davie, and Luke Vargas. 1:17.5

eight electoral votes of Kentucky.

1:20.0

Trump winning some red states wasn't a surprise, and neither was Biden winning some seriously

1:25.4

blue states. In Delaware, native son Joe Biden is the projected winner. Biden, the winner in

1:32.4

Massachusetts as well. But as the night dragged on, we did get some results from important

1:38.0

battlegrounds from past elections. Florida and Ohio.

1:41.4

The Associated Press has reported that President Trump has won the battleground state of Florida.

1:47.5

We are definitely giving Ohio to the Republicans.

1:50.7

Florida and Ohio were two states Trump basically needed to win in order to get reelected,

1:55.7
