There is an old legend from England about a pair of children who showed up at a village

in the 12th century.

They couldn't speak English and, strangest of all, they were green, like they literally

had green skin.

The story remains unsolved, but if we look close enough, we can learn a great deal.

First were these children actually green, or maybe was there something about their health

that made them look green?

Or is the entire thing made up?
