In 2015, the US military conducted a large-scale domestic training exercise called Jade Helm 15.

But many of those with a conspiracy theory mindset didn't buy that explanation and insisted

that it was a prelude to martial law, to include mass incarceration of law-abiding citizens.

But the exercise came and went, and no such things happened.

So what was all the paranoia really about?
