A mother sought attention by claiming her son had a mysterious disease nobody had ever

heard of, and that doctors would not acknowledge.

She claimed strange plastic fibers were being extruded from his skin.

But almost unbelievably, her claim of this new disease spread far and wide, and now thousands

of people worldwide believe themselves infected with Moregellon's disease.
