It's one of those great stories that has all the elements, a strange science fiction

like explosion on a remote island community, mysterious government agents creeping around,

and even inexplicable reports like ball lightning and strange lingering effects.

Well, it actually did all happen in this tiny Newfoundland community way back in the 1970s.
